Thanks …..very much for your help and advice. I was surprised to see how quickly that you had
got in touch, as things in Spain don't usually move so fast. No disrespect for the Spanish of
course, but after many years living here, you kind of get used to waiting...and waiting. I suppose
that in Catalunya things are more like in the UK, but down here…… I can assure you that they are

thought that my estate would be subject to Spanish law because I am resident here and all my assets

Last, but certainly not least, I want to share that we received on Friday the attached Report
and Recommendation from the Magistrate Judge before whom we had the final hearing in our Hague
Convention case. He recommends that our client's petition be granted and his daughter
returned to Spain with him. As you'll see on pages 12-15, the declaration you so kindly
provided was extremely influential to the Court and contributed to a very favorable result. …….
